Most people associate world globes with geography classes or boring teachers’ offices. We have pop culture to thank for that. In 80′s and 90′s TV shows, globes could be found lurking in the corners of many a fictitious teacher’s office–far more than actually existed in reality. But globes are no longer as boring as they used to be thanks to artist Wendy Gold. Wendy runs a company called ImagineNationsTM where she makes vintage globes of all varieties.
Amazing Landscapes Created With Food

British photographer Carl Warner created these amazing foodscapes: landscapes constructed entirely from fruits and vegetables, cheeses, breads, fish, meat and grains.At first glance the landscapes look real, and it is only on second glance that the viewer realises that the scenes are made entirely out of food. A book of his work, entitled Carl Warner’s Food Landscapes, is published by Abrams and is available at all good book stores and via Amazon.

Everybody knows Michael Jackson’s famous song Thriller, and most of us think it is pretty awesome. Johnny Lighthands thought the same when he got inspired to design these headphones with a Thriller theme. They were actually made by ATOM Creative Solutions who made them work through Bluetooth.
It is such a sad thing that people no longer listen to old vinyl records, but still you can use them to make something funny, like turning them into creative works of art. The results can be very impressive.

Since childhood, Junior Fritz Jacquet is fascinated by the paper. He explores and experiments with different techniques of folding and crumpling to create new forms and poetic objects that decorate his life. While he makes a lot of different artworks from paper (you can find them here), my attention was caught by his weird toilet paper roll sculptures.
Who could have thought that those toilet paper rolls that we use to throw away into a garbage bin, could be turned into fascinating face sculptures? Oh, and the best thing is that you can make them while sitting comfortably on your toilet! Enjoy!

Everyone knows that the water hard to hold your breath, unless you've specifically not to dive. Nevertheless, the design duo Million Dollar Design from Amsterdam dared to paint the old subway cars, using the underwater scenes. Duet, updated cars, was chosen after a competition conducted by the Amsterdam public transport company. As a result, designers Anneloes van den Bergh and Pauline Teunissen created a fabulous underwater world inside the car, adding a little darker accents. The result was a romantic song with brutal strokes. When you're in a car, a sense of infinity, I want to swim, and feel as if hit in the fantasy world of color, but still going in the subway. Along the walls are swimming mermaid, octopus, fish and turtles. And each part of the car its dominant color: green refers to the deep peace, and purple symbolizes the closeness to the surface of water with small fish and glimpses of sunshine.

The unusual and fun street art from Brazil has already been posted in one of our previous articles last year, and now it is time to take a look at the follow-up. The artists behind this work are Anderson Augusto and Leonardo Delafuente, and they call it “The 6emeia project”.The streets of Brazil can now continue to be more colorful and amusing for everyone, thanks to the two talented street artists. They are not the only one that are impressing people with their street art – these guys are only using spray painting and shadows to make unique street drawings.
